Hillel Student Board

Are you looking for ways to get more involved?

Well, there is one!

Alexandra Fox and Lily Goldberg are extending an invitation to you to apply to be on the Hillel Student board for the 2010/2011 school year.

Being on Hillel Student board is a great opportunity to not only get more involved with Hillel but also to get more involved at Hofstra.  While being on board, you will form connections with many other groups on campus, you will learn the inner workings of Hofstra, you will learn how to take on a leadership position on campus, you will learn how to plan programs and organize events, and you will make great friends while you do it!

This year, the Hillel student board is not going to have specific positions, but rather we are all going to work as a whole to accomplish our goals. This will give everyone a chance to get involved in every aspect of the board, and also to experience different things. It is a great opportunity for anyone looking for leadership experience.

The responsibilities of Hillel student board members will be as follows:

-       To attend general board meetings once a week

-       To engage other students to attend events

-       To help plan Hillel programs

-       To attend Hillel events

-       To attend monthly general member meetings
