Parker Jewish Institute
For Healthcare and Rehabilitation
Parker Jewish Institute for Health Care and Rehabilitation is well positioned to serve the health care needs of the nation's fastest growing population - older adults. A 527-bed facility, Parker offers a constellation of inpatient short term rehabilitation/sub-acute care and long-term care/skilled nursing programs. These inpatient programs are complemented by a comprehensive array of highly regarded community services.
Helping Hands will be volunteering at Parker on the first Sunday of every month from 10:30 - 11:30 AM. If you are interested in volunteering with Helping Hands please email Rabbi Dave Siegel or Katie Friedman.
Hatzilu Rescue Organization
Based at the Mid Island Y/JCC
Join Helping Hands on the second and fourth Wednesday of every month to help unload and organize food donations at the Hatzilu warehouse. For more information or to volunteer please email Rabbi Dave Siegel or Katie Friedman.
