David is Hofstra alum who has been working in the Jewish Communal field for more than nine years. David feels honored to serve as the Executive Director of Hillel at his alma mater.
David enjoys playing ultimate frisbee, camping and schmoozing. It goes without saying that David loves watching the Boston Red Sox (especially when they are beating the Yankees) and baseball in general. He is always up for a conversation about politics and loves electronics. But nothing tops spending time with his two sons, Ilan and Yonatan and his wife, Kerry.
David earned his BA from Hofstra University and his Masters in Management from NYU.

A native Houstonian and proud alum of the University of Texas, Rabbi Meir (“Rabs”) continues to be an enthusiastic Longhorns fan.
He loves hiking in the national parks out west and taking lots of pictures of their mountains, lakes, waterfalls, and wildlife. Rabbi Meir also enjoys tossing a Frisbee around, playing volleyball and guitar, and shmoozing with students.
He earned his M.S. in Education, Masters of Social Work, and rabbinic ordination from Yeshiva University and was recently honored with the Advisor of the Year Award by Hofstra’s Student Government Association.

Abbii grew up in Kansas City, no she did not live on a farm, and please hold the Dorothy jokes. She left Kansas City to attend college at the University of Arizona.
Abbii loves soccer, baseball, basketball (Go Jayhawks!!), and football. She also loves shopping, reading, and hanging out with her friends. She is new to the New York area, so any tips or advice you have for surviving New York would be a huge help!
After graduating in 2007, Abbii worked at the American Hebrew Academy, the only pluralistic Jewish boarding school in the United States. She is really excited to be at Hofstra and looks forward to meeting all of you!

Ben is a Maryland native and a graduate of the University of Maryland, Baltimore County (UMBC) also known as the OTHER University of Maryland. However, he still loves Terp sports, including basketball and lacrosse.
Ben enjoys cooking, schmoozing, watching ESPN (and shouting at the TV), classic muscle cars, playing lacrosse, NPR, and the finer things in life. Before joining Hofstra Hillel, Ben worked at UMass Amherst Hillel. Prior to working for Hillel, Ben had a short career in the beer and wine industry, as a bartender, beer salesman, and as a wine consultant.
Ben is super psyched to be working at Hofstra Hillel and is really looking forward to getting to know everyone on campus!
